Solution with accommodation included
The two editions of the European rowing coastal Challenge allowed us to understand the potentiality of the site of Marina di Castagneto (Livorno), in order to carry out training/free time stages with Filippi Coastal rowing boats. Circolo Nautico of Donoratico, where we store our hulls, (just two kms from the Filippi headquarters in Donoratico) is in fact one of the 14 italian rowing poles to develop this discipline. The club puts at disposal coaches and staff, who will have to manage both the educational/training activity and to operate as logistical support on the beach and in water for all those, clubs or private rowers who decide to confirm their interest from October to April, up to a maximum of 20 potential users at the same time.
Complete training camp and accommodation
Our training camp offers the possibility of renting Filippi coastal boats and Concept II oars also a planned use of ergometers inside the local rowing club or in affiliated gyms on demand. We can also guarantee our on water/ground service to rowers coming with their boats and simply want to receive the assistance of the local rowing club and hospitality in our accommodations, if required.
By the way, we put at disposal apartments nearby the rowing club with all the comforts and as alternative affiliated hotels and apartments in the countryside of Tuscany, no more than 1 hour from the famous cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena and 40 minutes from the main airport in Pisa and 1 hour by ferry from Elba island.
Try the beach sprint and endurance course
We are even able to supply a beach sprint course equipped with buoys and also for endurance but within 300 meters from the shore.
Furthermore, our staff on board of a rubber boat can watch the rowers along more than 10 km of local coastline.
