World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals 2025: Filippi recap

November 7–9, 2025 – Antalya, TUR

Another major international event has come to a close on the Turkish coast of Antalya, where the 2025 World Rowing Beach Sprint Championships took place.
In this edition, Filippi served as the exclusive boat supplier for the Senior Men’s and Women’s Solo and U19 Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles categories, ensuring all athletes could perform at their best in the challenges between waves and sand.

The U19 races opened the world championship program, delivering excitement and high-level competition.

  • In the U19 Men’s Double, the podium was claimed by Germany, Great Britain, and Italy
  • In the U19 Women’s Double, gold once again went to Germany, followed by Spain and Italy
  • In the U19 Mixed Double, victory went to Austria, ahead of Germany and France

Each race was a celebration of commitment, teamwork, and passion — values shared by the entire coastal rowing community.

The final day featured the Senior 1x events, where athletes faced demanding sea conditions but delivered an incredible spectacle.

  • In the Men’s Solo, the world title went to Christopher Bak (USA), ahead of Ander Martin (Spain) and Mathis Nottelet (France)
  • In the Women’s Solo, victory went to Emma Twigg (New Zealand), followed by Magdalena Lobnig (Austria) and Laura McKenzie (Great Britain)

Congratulations to all athletes for their passion, resilience, and determination along the Turkish coast.
