We had barely had time to recover from the excitement of the World Championships when the European Under-23 rowers surprised us all once again, filling us with pride by winning no fewer than 15 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 13 bronze medals
We took to the podium with 13 teams and nations:
Romania, the Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Estonia, France, Croatia, Sweden, Greece, individual neutral athletes, Austria, Denmark, Poland…
Amongst so many victories, a special mention goes to the Romanian team: with 14 crews competing, they took home no fewer than 10 medals. We could not have wished for a better way to round off the 2026 season.
To all the federations, coaches and athletes who continue to choose and place their trust in our blue and white boats: thank you.
